Admission for post graduate diploma in Agri- business management (DEC 2012-2014)


C.C.S National institute of agricultural marketing (AICTE approved) has invited application for post graduate diploma in Agri-business management for the year 2012-2014.

Eligibility: Bachelor degree (4 years) with 50% (general or OBC) and 45% (SC/ST) OPGA in agriculture or allied subject, veterinary science, dairy technology, food technology, Agri engineering form AU or institute recognized by ICAR/UGC.  Students who are going to complete their degree by july- august 2012 are also eligible to apply for the course.

Important note: 
The candidate must qualify the CAT-2011  conducted by IIMs. Based on the score the candidate will be called by NIAM.

Last date for CAT 2011registration is 28th September. 


How to apply?

Candidates can register for admission on the prescribed application form available "ONLINE" at the institute website www.ccsniam.gov.in from 12 September to 30 of November 2011. Applicant has to mention the CAT registration no while registering for NIAM.

Training in Mushroom cultivation for farmer


Directorate of Mushroom Research, Indian council of Agricultural Research, chambaghat, solan-173213 is conducting a short term training programme on mushroom cultivation for small/marginal farmers/growers. The programme duration is 7 days i.e. 20-26th September 2011. The cost of the programme is Rs.1000/ trainee

How to apply:

1. Apply in advance in the prescribed form along with DD of required amount to the Director, Directorate of Mushroom Research, Chambaghat, Solan-173213.
2. Selection is done on the basis of first come first serve. DD should be drawn in favor of ICAR-UNIT NRCM, payable at SBP, Solan (H.P). DD of non selected candidates will be returned after selection of trainees.
3. Application must reach us one month before the commencement of the respective training.
4. The applicants can also deposit the amount by cash in the office one month prior to respective training.
5. No online transaction of the money is entertained.

NOTE:

1. No boarding/lodging and travel expenses will be paid to the trainees.
2. Fee is non-refundable.
3. Shared rooms in the DMR farmers hostel will be provided to trainees @ Rs 50 per day per trainee subject to availability (Max 35 trainees).
4. Trainees can avail canteen facility in the DMR at nominal rates.
